PLANTING TREES under the blue sky with STARS by night

The purpose of this event is to explore potential positive impacts of Astro-tourism and tree planting for Environment Protection in the Gobi Desert, and for wellbeing. This Workshop contributes to the global battle against desertification. The percentage of forest is decreasing annually, causing environmental issues for our society and planet. Therefore, we have decided to organize this exciting Astro-Ecology activity with researchers, international scientists, local people and tourists on the Gobi forest plantation, and engage in reforestation annually in Mongolia (September).

Participants will explore the impacts of understanding the vastness of the universe, and our participation and role as co-creators in it, on human nature. During the event, there will be training for planting ecologically appropriate trees in the Gobi, and the benefits of combating desertification. Participants will plant trees, receiving a certificate for their specific tree, for referencing its future growth. This will compliment their experience of the Gobi Desert during the day, and stargazing at night.
